This assignment was a lab done in groups about projectile motion and kinematics. We performed multiple experiments with a nerf gun, first giving our predictions on the way the dart would move, and then actually testing it to see if our predictions were correct. This was fun, but also allowed us to gain some insight into the validity of our math and see how we can actually utilize what we are learning in the real world! (Regretfully I do not have the actual math work, but please view this document to see the types of problems being done.)
This assignment was a theoretical "Rocket Problem" in which we had to calculate the total distance traveled by a rocket using projectile motion and kinematics. This problem was both fun and challenging because the rocket goes through various phases, each of which are necessary to solve in order to get the distance traveled through each phase. Please view the work on the left to get an idea of what I mean.
