In physics, we have uber problems which takes a concept that we had been learning in class and creates a bigger problem with it. Everyone in the class is assigned different numbers to solve the problem with. We then must check in with Mr. Ellis to check if the problems are right, and finally, we create a write up for the problem which consists our approach to the problem and the equations we used. This is my first ever uber problem and I am proud of the final product.
This is the first lab in which groups were able to create their own apparatus and write up their own lab for. The goal of this lab to measure the energy change in a system with a spring. In this lab, my group used a reverse bungee to measure how the initial stretch of the bungee effected the final height the rock at the end of the bungee would reach. The lab was written up in the style of a poster to practice for the science fair poster boards.
