Cross Country

I have been running cross country since 2018, and have been running races for as long as I can remember. While running isn’t always enjoyable, I deeply value the mental stamina cross country has afforded me. Running has enabled me to run for fun, push my limits in healthy forms, and surround myself with amazing teammates. One of the biggest challenges in cross country is preventing and coming back from inevitable injuries; this past season, I was out for over an year due to an extended patella injury in my knee and an IT band issue in my hip. While cheering on the sideline wasn’t nearly as exciting as the thrill of running itself, I love the team atmosphere of cross country.Click here to see Framingham’s cross country records!

Unified Through Books

Unified Through Books Logo

Reading has been a passion of mine since a young age, carrying with me through the power of words and books. One of my goals is working to bridge the divide in education, and the lack of resources available to some students. I started Unified Through Books–a literary blog with notes–through my passion for literature and education, with the hope my reviews and notes help inspire students across Massachusetts. Unified Through Books contains my past research, analytical essays, book reviews, and in depth biology notes. I use this site to help with tutoring students in biology.

National Academic Quiz Tournament

Since 5th grade, I have been an avid fan of two things: Jeopardy and watching old re-runs of High School Quiz Show on YouTube. High School Quiz Show is a quiz bowl for high schoolers in the New England area, which covers topics such as science, history, math, and pop culture! Last year, I joined Framingham's Quiz team, and we competed in several National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT) as well as WGBH's Super Sunday audition! Tennis

FHS Tennis

Here is our team on our dress-like-coach theme day!

Something I have recently found a passion for is tennis. Despite playing tennis on the weekends with my dad and younger brother for fun, I was never serious about the sport; however, in the spring of ‘23, I joined Framingham’s tennis team. Restarting tennis allowed me to challenge myself to improve dramatically; I even won my team's Most Improved Award. In the offseason, I continue to play with my family and teammates on weekends. I hope to maintain playing regularly and improve!

Sailing

>

From 2016 through 2021, I attended Boating in Boston’s summer sailing/paddling camp; in 2021, I completed my teen camp leadership role. While I’m still not the best at sailing, I love sailing with my brothers and continuously improving my rigging and navigation skills. My goals for future sailing endeavors include self-sailing a boat and sailing a larger parmanand.
