Physics

Physics used both algebra and calculus to investigate and model the connections between concepts and the “real world.” Through classroom lessons and collaborative work, we have learned tons of different units from dynamics to rotations and oscillations. We design our own labs to pursue topics even further.

Assignments I Have Done

Acceleration on Inclined Plane Lab

The Acceleration on inclined plane lab was our first lab in physics. I particularly enjoyed it because it had us using carts with highly precise location measurements and a software to look at results to be able to see how acceleration occurs when moving down an inclined plane, or hill.

Dynamics Lab

The dynamics lab aimed to determine the relationship between the mass of a cart and its acceleration when a constant force is applied. My group and I ran multiple tests to get data that was used to calculate how mass affected the movement of the cart.
