These are some of the extracurricular activities I participated in at Oxford High School before attending MAMS. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and school rules, I am no longer able to participate in some of these. Feel free to click here to see what I am currently involved with.
Student Council
While I was at Oxford, I was an extremely active member of my student council and served as the treasurer my sophomore year. Since the 6th grade student council was something that I had participated in, it was extremely important to me as it allowed me to make a difference. One of my favorite events to help with there were organizing the craft fairs as well as trunk-or-treats. Both of these events allowed the council to make a lot of money while providing an activity for our whole community to participate in. These events brought in tons of people and were able to represent the schools well. Varsity Sports: Track and Field
While at Oxford High, I participated in many varsity sports, including Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track and Field. I also participated in JV basketball, earning me 7 varsity letters, 2 JV certificates, and a Captain’s Award for Cross Country. For outdoor track, I enjoyed running the two-mile and throwing the javelin. I am considering running track in the spring. However, I will see how much time I have. To the left is a picture of me at a cross country meet, and to the right is a picture of me and some of my peers from Oxford at the MIAA Sportsmanship Summit. We were selected by our athletic director to attend for showing excellent leadership both on the field and in the classroom.
Class Council Treasurer
As Treasurer for the class of 2026 of Oxford High School, I managed the funds for our class events and fundraisers. I was able to successfully keep track of our budget and ensure that we were constantly saving money to be able to fund important events such as Prom and Senior Trips. Some of our most successful fundraisers included selling grilled cheeses at Homecoming and holding bake sales at the Oxford High School Craft Fairs.
