This course is taught by Mrs. Wildfong. In this course, we practice our speaking and listening skills by speaking only Spanish in class. We note down any vocabulary words that we've learned in class. We also watch shows and movies and listen to songs in Spanish to improve our listening skills. At the end of each term, students turn in our vocabulary assignment which consists of 120 new words that we've learned over the term.
This was a lighthearted assignment where students were tasked to make a meme in their target language. Some memes would be pinned on the Mass Academy bulletin board. This is my meme which references the programming language Java, which is strict on syntax and would output an error after forgetting a semicolon.
Translation: I forgot a semicolon (man running). Java (man flying)
We practice our listening skills by doing weekly listening logs in Spanish. We listen to shows, songs, podcasts, or movies in Spanish and log a description of what our impressions are.
