About Me!

Travel

One of my favorite activities that I do not get to do often is travel. I have been to many places in North America and Europe, and my favorites have been Iceland, Russia, the Faroe Islands, and Quebec. I also take occasional trips to the beach in the summer, whether it is with my friends or family.

Math

Since the 3rd grade, I have attended MathAltitude School of Mathematics where I took advanced math classes and essay courses, attended math clubs, and much much, more.

Last year, I took AP Calculus BC, and this year I am taking MV Calculus/Calculus 3. For the past 3 years, I have also been teaching and tutoring mathematics from MA-1 to pre-calculus.

Apart from MathAltitude, I enjoy studying mathematics on my own, from non-Euclidean geometry to polytopes. Along with Math Modeling at MAMS, I enjoy getting challenge problems from my teacher, Mrs.Durost, such as "Calculus Thrillers" where I apply calculus to scenarios made into stories.

Staying Active

I have played basketball since I was in the 6th grade and continued until the 9th grade. I had played on the JV team my 8th and 9th grade years and was captain in 9th grade as well. Along with my winter school season, I play AAU in the spring, summer, and fall months. Even though my studies took lots of my time and I ended up not playing for my school my sophomore year, I still go to the basketball courts to shoot hoops and decompress. I also try to go outside, whether it is going on a run or walking my dog.

Spending Time with Friends

My favorite downtime activity is hanging out with my friends. Whether that is going to Unity Hall to do our Math Modeling homework or stopping by Fuel to get a little treat. I try to highlight our classes' close connection on our MAMS '27 Instagram page as class representative! Outside of school, I go to lots of concerts and sports events with my friends. Spontaneous trips to Boston or the Cape are also some of my favorite memories.
