This baked salmon recipe is simple to prepare, both in terms of ingredients and time. I can see myself making this often, and I never seem to grow tired of this tasty dish. If I want to spice things up (pun very much intended), adding some chili powder or lemon slices might do the trick.
- Salmon (1.2-1.5 lbs)
- Teriyaki Sauce
- Scallions (for garnish)
- Aluminum Foil
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. After briefly rinsing the fillet, slice a couple of slits in an X pattern on the thicker portions to allow for more flavor to enter the salmon and even cooking.
3. Coat the top side of the salmon in a generous layer of teriyaki sauce.
4. Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking pan and place the salmon on top, framing the fillet with scallions.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375°F until the thickest part of the salmon appears fully cooked.
6. Enjoy!
