✦ (Chinese-Style) Pork Ribs ✦

Brief Description

This recipe features simple pork ribs marinated in a flavorful blend of seasoning and cooked very slowly to ensure that they end tender and delicious.

Ingredients/Materials

- Pork ribs (~2 lbs)
- Cooking Wine
- Vinegar
- Sugar
- Soy Sauce
- Water

Instructions

1. First, rinse off and cut the pork ribs into individual small pieces.

2. Add the pork ribs to a pot and add in cooking wine, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and water in the following ratio:

- 1 spoonful of cooking wine,

- 2 spoonfuls of vinegar,

- 3 spoonfuls of sugar,

- 4 spoonfuls of soy sauce, and

- 5 spoonfuls of water.

The spoons I used were roughly 1 tablespoon each. If the water doesn't yet cover the pork ribs, add more water until they are all partially submerged.

3. Place the pot on the stove and turn the heat on high.

4. Once the mixture has come to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot, letting it simmer for 50-60 minutes.

5. Enjoy these simple to make yet flavorful pork ribs!
