Creating a Novel Soft Robotic With an Anisotropically Frictional Skin For Rubble SAR

I worked on this project intensively from October 2023 to March 2025 and plan to continue doing so in college, once testing with actual stroke patients is less restricted. I participated in science fairs at the school, regional, state, and international levels, earning the Sanofi Grand Prize at MSEF, the Massachusetts state fair (see picture above).

Creating an Active, Gait-Predictive Ankle-Foot Orthosis for Post-Rehabilitation Stroke Patients

I worked on this project intensively from October 2024 to June 2025 and continue to develop it slowly with the advice of FEMA-affiliated search and rescue personel. I participated in science fairs at the school and regional levels. I also was selected as one of two state champions and one of 106 in the country to present my work to lawmakers and industry executives at the National STEM Festival in March 2025 (see picture above).

Testing a Novel Combination of Alum and Bentonite Clay Treatment to Mitigate Harmful Algal Blooms With Minimal Ecosystemic Impact

I worked on this project intensively from October 2022 to October 2024, collaborating with experts in academia as well as those actively working to combat the harmful algal blooms in their areas. I participated in science fairs at the school, regional, and state levels, earning the Cabot Grand Prize at MSEF, the Massachusetts state fair (see picture above).
