Physics is a course taught by Ms. Chase. Throughout the year, students learn a wide array of physics concepts, and apply them through exciting hands-on activities and projects. Students gain a stronger understanding of how the world around them functions.
One of the topics covered in physics is dynamics. For this lab, each group of students designed and executed an experiment to prove a concept related to dynamics. For this lab, my group and I were looking to find the relationship between acceleration and the coefficient of friction of a wooden block when more weight is added to the opposite side of the pulley.
In the kinematics lab, the goal was to apply concepts learned in the kinematics section and learn how to linearize graphs. In this lab, the relationship between v^2 and distance was measured of a cart on a track.
