Spanish Intermediate is a class taught entirely in Spanish, meaning no English is spoken in the classroom. It is taught by Mrs. Wildfong, whose immersion-based teaching style is very effective, even for students with little to no prior experience. In this class, we learn by reading Spanish books, listening to music, and watching movies.
El Mismo Sol is one of the Spanish songs that Mrs. Wildfong played for the class. As soon as our class heard the song, we fell in love with it, and it quickly became one we played repeatedly. During one class, my friends and I even did karaoke to the song.
For one of our projects, we created a presentation about a famous Spanish-speaking artist. I chose Joaquín Sorolla, whose artwork focuses on landscapes, seascapes, and everyday Spanish life.
