About Me

Hi, my name is Luke Lee, and I attend Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science but my sending school is Grafton High School. Welcome to my website! I have lived in Grafton for 14 years of my life with my Mom, Dad, Brother and Dog. I really enjoy the tight knit community of Grafton but I want to live in the city for college. One of my favorite past times are watching movies and shows. I enjoy all types of genres, but I really like adventure movies like Star Wars and Back to the Future. Something else that I also enjoy doing is listening to music. Some of my favorite artists are Kanye West, Oasis and Clario. While I do occasionally listen to singles from artists, my favorite way of listening to music is experiencing their full albums. I feel like it really shows the full message of what the artist is trying to convey. During the summer, I had the chance to try a bunch of different restaurants from all around New England. I have a Instagram page where I rate those restaurants I ate at. Feel free to follow me @chickenboi1188 and @luke_lee1188.

Sports

I played Varsity Golf in my freshmen year but played it as only a hobby in sophomore year. I love playing golf even if it is hard to be good at. I score around 43 on a good day but my average is around 47. I haven’t had much time recently to play but whenever my friends go to play, I try to join them.

While I don't play Pickleball for school, it is one of my favorite hobbies. Last year in school I created the pickleball club so that different people in the school could play with new opponents.

I run Varsity Track for my sending school in the winter and the spring. My main events are 100m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles and Triple Jump but I also do High Jump and 600m occasionally

Community Service

I love to give back to my community, so over this summer I volunteered at two main locations. First, I volunteered at a food bank in Westborough. I helped stock shelves and helped people bring food to their cars. I worked there for 4 hours. For the rest of my hours, I volunteered at Grafton High School where I helped teachers run enrichment programs for kids aged 5 to 14. Some programs I helped with were a cooking class, an arts and crafts class, an engineering class, and an ocean exploration class. I worked there for 48 hours.

Free Time

In my free time, I love to hang out with my friends. I usually hang out with them in person, but we also like to play videos games together online. During the summer, we hosted parties on the weekend to hang out with each other. As a result we have become a very close group that go out pretty often. On the weekend I usually invite my friends over to watch football because we are all in a Fantasy Football league together. Talking about Fantasy Football, I am currently in 3 different leagues. One is a 10-man PPR league, one is a 12-man keeper league, and one is a 10-man PPR league with my MAMS friends. I am having a great start to the season and I have even beat Mr. McCarthy in the MAMS league. Recently, I have been playing a lot of Clash Royale, I have just reached 10,000 trophies and I grinded so hard to get there. I love Clash Royale because it’s a game that is fast paced, includes strategy and I can play it with my friends.

J-O-B

I work at Code Ninjas, which is a after school program where kids aged 6 to 16 can learn how to code. They code in the languages of JavaScript and C#. As a Lead Sensei, I am responsible for taking care of the students and in charge of making sure my coworkers are doing good. I have worked there for a year and a half and I love it there. I usually work on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 8

Travel

My family loves to travel, and we have actually been to 4 out of the 7 continents. Some countries we have been to are England, China, Japan, Korea, France, Canada, Spain and Aruba. Our last vacation was to Japan but more specifically, we went to Tokyo and Osaka. First, we went to Tokyo where we went to a Star Wars convention. If you didn’t know, my dad is a huge Star Wars fan, so we always go to this bi-yearly convention called Star Wars Celebration. At this convention, there are many announcements for the future of Star Wars, many photo ops with the stars, and overall, it is a great place to just meet fellow Star Wars fans like me. I had a great time there but it only lasted 3 days. After the convention, we went to Osaka and Kyoto. We visited many tourists attractions but also ate a lot of food. Some of my favorite foods there are Wagyu beef and Sushi. Some fun places we went to was Disney Sea and the World’s Fair.
