Physics

In physics, we learn advanced physics, which enables us to prepare for most of the AP Physics exams at the end of the year. Ms. Chase teaches this course, and she also runs the Physics team and Crochet club! We have a lot of interactive labs and ways to simulate physics problems which overall helps to visualize concepts, while also making it interesting and fun. (Once we used an actual flying pig to simulate centripetal motion, which is one of our units). It's a really fun course that applies to everything around us.

In the Acceleration of an Inclined Plane Lab for physics, we had to measure the velocity of a cart and find the relationship between Acceleration and Height, using and modifying equations and data.

For the Dynamics lab, which is next to this, we were able to create our experiment and write a lab report on it. I worked with Megan Ashun and Adnan Debele, (who are also from Worcester!) to create this experiment and test the relationship between the forces in our experiment.
