Physics

Physics at Mass Academy offers both algebra-based physics, as well as calculus-based physics to prepare students for AP Physics exams.

Uber problems are physics problems that are larger than the average problem. The first uber problem of the year was the Uber Rocket, which was on the topic of kinematics. I chose the calculus version of this problem, which had non-uniform acceleration.

Uber Pulley was the second uber problem of the year, focusing on the topic of forces, as well as including some kinematics. Similar to the Uber Rocket, I chose to work on the calculus version of the Uber Pulley, which had a pulley system that included a chain with mass.
