Spanish

Language is an immersion-based class where the teacher speaks only in the target language and students reply and speak in only the target language, in my case being Spanish. Students must participate in class multiple times to receive the most credit they can. Although students may not be perfect in their target language, the immersion helps them grow with their speaking, listening, and overall language skills.

Students are required to have a vocabulary list throughout the year, in which roughly 120 words are to be learned by the end of each of the four terms. Below is my vocabulary list for B term.

Alongside having a vocabulary list for each term, students must also have a listening log for each term. Listening logs are, by the name, entries of one listening to 20+ minutes of anything in the target language, with a few sentence description. Students must have around two entries per week. Below is my listening log for B term.
