❭ St. Bernadette's Mathletes: I volunteered as a coach for Mathletes at St. Bernadette's, a local middle school. My responsibilities included helping run meetings, preparing lessons on traditional and competitive math concepts, and guiding the students through worksheets and problems. I love math, so working with younger students to develop their problem-solving skills through it was an awesome experience.
❭ Pioneer Robotics: Through the robotics team at my sending school, I helped volunteer for various events. I coached the FIRST LEGO League teams at Saint John's, advising them on the development of their research project and aspects of their robot game. Additionally, I volunteered at the Boston Museum of Science and RoboBoston, where I presented last year's robot to families and visitors and showed people how to drive it.
❭ STEM Saturday: Through MACS, the community service club at Mass Academy, I volunteered at a STEM Saturday event at the Millbury Public Library. At STEM Saturday, I helped run the elephant toothpaste station, walking kids through making elephant toothpaste and teaching them about chemical reactions in the process.█
