Spanish
Spanish is taught by Sra. Wildfong, a veteran of getting kids who speak anything but Spanish to do exactly that. The class is designed so that every week you're introduced to a new concept in the language, allowing you to get to grips with that concept and then apply it to your repertoire of skills. Once you get comfortable with that a new set of skills is introduced and the cycle continues. This means the class has more in common with a mario game than a standard language class. This design is because many people come from different language backgrounds, as someone who previously took latin this class has expanded my spanish skills well past what my latin ones were in only six months and is a testament to how the best way to run a class is sometimes not a class at all.

This is a slideshow on the artist Frida Kahlo, which I did in preparation for our field trip to the art museum in worcester. The entire presentation was done in Spanish and I discussed a few of her paintings.

This is my second essay done in Spanish class. While it isn't exactly Donkey Xote, I believe it shows my growth in the class, as 4 months prior I barely spoke any Spanish that wasn't featured on the taco bell menu.
