Humanities
Humanities at Mass Academy, taught by Mrs. Small, integrates English and history to explore what it means to be human. Through literature, historical analysis, and writing, we examine themes such as education, rhetoric, satire, identity, and ancient civilizations while developing strong analytical and argumentative skills.
Satire Brainstorming
As part of a satire unit, we developed and refined concepts for an original satirical piece. The assignment emphasized identifying targets, tone, and rhetorical techniques, with a focus on social commentary
