I have always loved watching and playing basketball. It’s a sport I’ve enjoyed since childhood, playing consistently from first through eighth grade. Unfortunately, I had to stop during COVID and haven’t had the chance to pick it up again. On the court, I often played as a point guard or shooting guard, thanks to my skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting. My playing style closely resembles that of Stephen Curry, whose precision in shooting and dynamic passing made him a player I admired and aspired to surpass. As a lifelong supporter of the Boston Celtics, they'll always be my favorite team. However, Stephen Curry remains my favorite player. His flawless shooting technique and ability to consistently make incredible shots have always inspired me. When it comes to the age-old debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James, I side with LeBron. Playing in a more competitive era, his impressive stats, and his ability to carry his teams to success make him the better player in my opinion.
Recently, I’ve developed an interest in cars, inspired by a friend who started a car-focused instagram page. I’m fascinated by every car he posts, and if you’re curious, I recommend checking it out. My favorite car is the Bugatti Chiron, with a special mention to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS—these two were the first cars I could identify in public. For anyone who shares this passion, here’s a great resource featuring an impressive list of cool cars: Car Website. One of the most talked-about topics in the car world is the ranking of German cars. My personal top four are: 4) BMW, 3) Audi, 2) Mercedes, and taking the top spot—Porsche. I also enjoy watching car repair videos from time to time, especially when someone takes a damaged or non-functional car, restores it, and flips it for a profit. A YouTuber named Mat Armstrong creates amazing content in this space, and I highly recommend checking out his videos!
My scouting journey started in middle to late eighth grade. Currently, I am an Eagle Scout. In scouts, I have made a lot of memories with my friends because of all the trips we have been to, such as a whitewater rafting trip. Scouts is an excellent place for a child to learn leadership skills and understand their responsibilities. I have led a trip of all age groups from eleven to eighteen-year-olds. It was to Acadia National Park, and we tented at a campground for three nights. There were some moments when I had to step in and be a leader to help settle the situation, but most of the time, it was an enjoyable experience.
