This recipe utilizes a very common Chinese flavor combo: lamb and cumin. Tossed into an air fryer, the lamb is tender yet crisp, complemented by cumin and a hint of spice. It's similar to the cumin lamb skewers but made easier for home cooking.
- Lamb (~1.5 lbs)
- Cooking Wine
- Salt
- Ground Cumin Powder
- Whole Cumin Seeds
- Chili Powder
1. First, defrost the lamb meat if frozen and rinse.
2. Cut the lamb into small cubes.
3. In a bowl, combine the lamb cubes with cooking wine, salt, ground cumin powder, whole cumin seeds, and chili powder. Add as much chili powder as your heart desires. Mix well until each piece looks reasonably coated.
4. Air fry the pieces at 360°F for 15 minutes, move the pieces around a bit, and then fry for an additional 5 minutes until the lamb is cooked and slightly crispy.
5. Enjoy!
