French

Bonjour! Advanced French is a class taught by Madame Wildfong, where we strive to improve our speaking and comprehension skills by various means of learning. These include reading stories, watching movies, cooking food, and more! Currently, we are filming a short movie, for which we write our own scripts and design storyboards, all while communicating with our peers in the target language. The immersive experience of the class allows us to explore French culture in the process as well.

Listening Logs

In French class, we complete weekly listening logs, for which we listen to or watch French media of our choosing (music, podcasts, videos, movies). Following this, we write a short description of the media we chose, and share our own reflection on it.

Meme Contest

The meme contest was a fun assignment where us students designed our own memes in the target language. These would later be hung up on a bulletin board for us to see each other's creations. To the right is a meme that I created, referring to the small but satisfying accomplishment of finishing all homework before midnight, even after coming home late from a robotics meeting!
