In Advanced Spanish, we immerse ourselves in the language of Spanish in order to improve our fluency and understanding while learning more about Spanish culture. The class is taught completely in Spanish and we engage with the language by reading Spanish novels, watching Spanish tv and movies, and having discussions in Spanish.
We completed this assignemnt at the end of A term. We spent the entire term focusing on childhood and learning different words in that topic and exploring Spanish stories and media that were in that topic. We were assigned to write a story, fictional or real life, about childhood. I chose to write a fictional story about a kid's surprise birthday party.

In Spanish class, each term we have a term long assignemnt where we listen to Spanish for 30 minutes at least 10 times per term. In order to listen to Spanish, we are allowed to listen to music, audiobooks, podcasts, or watch tv. For B term, I chose to listen to two songs and watch 8 episodes of a show called Olympo. My listening log includes the summary of what I listened to and my thoughts on it.
