The language courses at Mass Academy are taught by Mrs. Wildfong, and they are some of the most fun classes offered. In my class, Intermediate Spanish, everybody came into the course with different experience levels, ranging from never taken a foreign language to 4 years of Spanish, but everybody still learns something throughout the year. There is a lot of focus on real-world applications of the foreign language, learning how to utilize it by emphasizing speaking and listening. One of my favorite parts of the class is the songs we sing in class and the games we play.
In Intermediate Spanish, we do a couple of essays, however, they aren't graded very harshly and are meant to give reflections on our progress. This essay was about our reflective verb unit and was meant to have us write an essay on a topic we were all familiar with.

At the very beginning of the year, one of our first assignments was to give simple descriptions of rooms in our houses. This was a very laid-back assignment to give Mrs. Wildfong a basis of where people stand in their Spanish education.
