For the past four years, I took Latin at school as my foreign language. At Mass Academy, Sra Wildfong teaches Intermediate Spanish and in this class, we are only allowed to speak Spanish. This class is graded on overall improvement and participation. During class, we read book, play games, watch movies such as La Misma Luna and participate in cultural activities. During A term, we even took a field trip to the Worcestor Art Museum and did a scavenger hunt. Even though I started the class with zero spanish skills except 'hola', I am proud to say that I can hold a basic conversation in spanish now.
We had a meme contest in the fall and I had a lot of fun making these memes -- which are very relatable for MAMS students. This meme to the left says "When Mrs. Small (the humanities teacher) finds an APA citation in the education essay". Mi Rutina del diaria is an essay about my daily life. This writing assignment was assigned so that we could practice reflexive verbs, our most recent grammar lesson. This essay talks about my morning routine, the school day and my after-school activities.
