Advanced Spanish is taught by Señora Wildfong. In the class, we are fully immersed in Spanish culture, in which we can only speak in Spanish. We also level up our skills by watching various movies, listening to songs, reading books, and learning new tenses.
To review the past perfect and imperfect tenses, we were assigned to create an essay on an experience in our childhood. Through this assignment, I got to practice my writing skills, learn new vocabulary, and, as is the purpose of the assignment, improve my skills working with the past tenses. During each term, we keep a running list of words that we do not know to help grow our vocabulary base. In addition, we practice our writing skills in the target language to write the definitions of each of our new words. To view my Vocabuary List, click here.
