ABOUT
Physics at MAMS involves a lot of labs and fascinating lessons.
Right now, we're learning about centripetal dynamics. There is also a Physics Team running
this term that I'm a part of.
ROCKET LAUNCH
This was a really fun problem that we worked on in class. Everyone
was given the same problem with different numbers and then we had to use those numbers to
calculate where a rocket would fall. I didn't get the problem right (I made a small error in
the last step - see if you can find it,) but it was an interesting problem and I feel that I
did well on the physics part of it and on clearly showing my work. You can see my solution
here.
DYNAMICS LAB
This was a lab that I worked on with Jared Rosen
and Nick Giza.
We got to make up our own experiment to prove something about dynamics, so we set up this
experiment to model the relationship between angle and acceleration.
Here's my lab report.
