This project has the potential to save many lives and prevent many incidents beforehand due to CO poisoning. Through buidling a novel handheld detector connected to a novel ventilation system, homes can be equipped with life-saving technology that can make the difference between an life or death. This research shines light on how technology can be used to detect CO early and automatically filter it out, detecing and preventing CO incidents.
