TTA-UC has its main applications in solar energy. Currently, solar panels cannot capture larger wavelengths of light. TTA-UC can be used to upconvert these light waves to higher energy waves, which the solar panels can then capture. My project aids researchers in better understanding TTA-UC's relationship with light intensity, a factor that affects solar panel efficiency. Additionally, biological applications of TTA-UC specifically require lower amounts of light intensity, which my model can help design.
