I have many different hobbies and activities, but some of them are participating in Math Team at MAMS, pottery, cooking, and music! Other than that, I also like to read, play badminton (for fun), take walks, and play video games!
Math Team is a club at MAMS where we mainly practice and compete in various math competitions. Some competitions that we compete include WOCOMAL and NEML. I also competed in the math team from my sending school, Shrewsbury High School. I really like math team because it gives me a chance to collaborate with my friends on tough problems!
In my free time, I love to go to the Claytime in Worcester and paint! Below are some of my recent pieces! Although it does take a lot of time, time spent at Claytime is always worth it because the end results are always amazing! It is always so satisfying to collect the end result after hours of your hard work! The blue mug on the left is a mug that I made during Halloween (if you couldn't tell because of the ghost) and the orange mug on the right is a mug that I made on my birthday!
Although I am just a beginner, I love cooking and experimenting with various recipes to create my own! Cooking allows me to explore the chemistry of the kitchen while also trying to put ingredients together that satisfy my cravings. I also like to bake. I find baking as a fun and stress-relieving way to challenge myself, even though baking can sometimes turn into a endless cycle of trying to get it right! In the past, I have made burritos, pizza rolls, croissants, and dosas. If there are any easy yet tasty recipes you know of, feel free to email me! I am always looking for suggestions!
Since I was 5 years old, I have been deeply involved in music. I have been playing piano for almost 10 years, violin for 3 years, and flute for about 1 year. I have also finished 4 piano grades from the Trinity College of London, and I am currently working on Grade 5! Recently, I have performed at the Hindu Heritage Day Festival and the Shrewsbury Multicultural Festival. The picture on the left is from Hindu Heritage Day and the picture in the middle is from the Shrewsbury Multicultural Festival!
