Madame Wildfong's French class is more than language; it's an immersive adventure. We chat, read, play board games, and explore culture, all in the target language. We also continuously update our vocab journals with interesting vocabulary we learn in class. In the advanced classes, we are also expected to listen to a podcast or a show of our choice and write a summary of it in our listening logs.
Every individual in our class prepared either an appetizer, main course, or dessert for everyone to enjoy. In the subsequent week, we delivered presentations discussing the dishes we had created, using the past tense to recount the processes involved. I had prepared gougeres for the class.
During B-Term, we watched an animated French movie called "Azur et Asmar". We were then tasked with writing a journal showing the day to day life of a character in the movie of our choice.
