French
Course Description
In French class, Mrs. Wildfong immerses us in the language by having us talk only in French while in class. We also watch movies and read literature to learn French like Azur and Asmar or the 1946 version of Beauty and the Beast. While doing this in class, we also take note of French vocabulary learned inside and outside of class in our vocabulary journal as well as keep track of what movies, songs, or TV shows in French we listen to in our listening journals. Below are two assignments we did in class.
French Meme
One of the assignments we had in French class was to create a meme in our target language that would be relatable to our fellow students at Mass Academy of Math and Scienc. Here is the meme I created that has to do with STEM project struggles.
Cooking Presentation
We also made food from French culture/a culture having some relation to France. We then made presentations on the recipe for the chosen dish and presented it to the class with 3 things we would like to do differently for the next time.
