School

Before coming to MAMS, I went to Westborough High School (WHS) for my freshman and sophomore years. There, the courses I took were:

Although I was a little apprehensive about leaving WHS, I’ve grown to find my place here.

My Family

I live with my father, my mother, and a pet cat (named Harry!) in Westborough, Massachusetts. I was born in Framingham, and from there, we have moved all throughout the U.S., including Kansas (when I was 2) and California (when I was 6)! However, we eventually came back to Massachusetts, where we have lived for about 10 years now.

Past Project: The AADI

Created with Ansh Hiranandani from Westborough High School for the 2023 Science Fair, this is the AADI. Its name is a play on the Sanskrit word आदि (pronounced aadi) meaning “first”- referring to the idea being the first of its kind: employing both reliability and affordability. It also serves as an acronym for "Agricultural Assistance Drone with Imaging," the project’s essence. This $1,099 device helps detect cultivable land by methodically and efficiently taking pictures within set parameters through an interface called QGroundControl, saving these images on a microSD card within the Raspberry Pi. The images within the card are then integrated into an AI algorithm, which outputs the locations of fertile land.

Community Service: The ReStore

The Habitat for Humanity Ashland ReStore is a nonprofit store selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, and home goods at reduced prices. Proceeds support local Habitat home-building projects. I volunteered at the ReStore, helping with organization and managing the register. This rewarding experience allowed me to support a meaningful cause while developing my organizational and customer service skills.

Community Service: Chinmaya Mission

The Chinmaya Mission in MetroWest, MA, is a spiritual organization dedicated to spreading Vedanta teachings and promoting Hindu cultural values. It offers programs for spiritual growth, community service, and cultural education. I volunteer here as part of the youth group and as a Sanskrit teacher, participating in community service projects, organizing events, and teaching Sanskrit. This fulfilling experience allows me to share my knowledge and support cultural education. In this picture, I was accepting a token of gratitude for my services.
