I analyzed how satire and serious commentary communicate political controversies, using the Epstein files as a case study. I compared Saturday Night Live’s satirical sketch, which exaggerates political deflection to reveal hypocrisy through humor, with The Brett Cooper Show’s detailed, serious analysis. This analysis demonstrates my ability to evaluate rhetorical strategies, assess effectiveness, and articulate how humor and critique function in public discourse.

I explored the role of artificial intelligence in education, examining both its benefits and potential risks. I argued that while AI tools like ChatGPT can enhance writing, feedback, and problem-solving, over-reliance can diminish critical thinking and originality. By focusing on guided use, verification of information, and critical engagement, AI can transform from a potential threat into a tool that strengthens learning and prepares students for an AI-driven world.
