The Modeling the Future Contest asks students to research, obtain data, build mathematical models, and give recommendations. My group examined how drug addiction relates to surgery rates and opioid prescriptions.

Epsilon Project
One of our first modeling assignments: a school's freshman population is doubling next year. Based on previous enrollment and dropout rates, we determined which departments should receive additional teachers.
