I live with my Amma (mother, in Kannada), Nanna (father, in Telugu), and 6-year-old Airedale Terrier, Whiskey. They’re an endlessly reliable source of support, and I honestly wouldn’t be anywhere without them. When prompted, I usually tell people I’m from “all over the States” and crack a joke about being Mr. Worldwide – I’ve only lived in four states, though.
