The Spanish curriculum here at Mass Academy is a Spanish immersion class. This allows us to improve on our grammar, pronunciation, and overall confidence in the target language. It is a very engaging class with lots of participation required as we do things such as make movies, group work, and read aloud.
Towards the beginning of the year, we had to write an essay about our childhood. You could write about one significant event that impacted you, or briefly go through your whole childhood, and I opted for latter. I wrote about several things that happened in my early life such as moving towns at a young age.
Every term (A, B, C, and D) we are expected to have 10 listening logs done. For 1 listening log, you have to say what you listened to, how long it was, and provide a short description of what it was about. I prefer to listen to music as a bulk of my listening logs as I already listen to Spanish music. As of now, I have completed up to B term (20 entries).
