My family is comprised of my two parents, my older sister, my younger brother and I. My sister is 1 year, 9 months, and 29 days older than me, and my brother is 3 years, 2 months, and 18 days younger than me. That makes me the middle child, which I thoroughly enjoy because I get the responsibilities of an older brother, and the pamperings of a younger one. My father is a management consultant, and my mother is a language (Spanish and French) teacher at Notre Dame Academy.
I have lived in exactly seven countries in my lifetime, including Togo, Rwanda, France, the UAE, Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, and the USA. I am often questioned about what country was my favorite, but I always give the same answer: “I don’t know” for the simple reason that every place has its own benefits and inconveniences. I really enjoyed traveling around the world because I was able to get first-hand experiences of different cultures and living habits.
My Best friend is Benjamin, also known as Bengi. I met him once I arrived in Côte d’Ivoire. We invited each other every weekend, but most of the time I went to his cabin, on an island and we wake surfed, did some kneeboarding, and tubing. In school, we were in the same class until our paths separated, and we were always in the same groups for groupwork. Nowadays, we see each other at least once a year. Either I go visit him in Chicago or he comes to Worcester.
