The collaborative immersion course concentrates on gaining language proficiency by utilizing authentic materials such as literature, music, film, discussions, and games. Students grasp grammar within meaningful contexts and participate in project-based learning, including producing podcasts, creating movies, and collaborating on small group projects. Evaluation of students' individual progress is carried out through video, audio, and written portfolios.

These slides are a summary of the cooking project that French students were given. The task was to find a recipe with origins in a French-speaking country, document the steps (gaining new vocabulary along the way!), and finally, cook something! I chose to make madeleines, which are small sponge cakes with a shell shape. We presented our recipes in class after the project was completed.
