Physics

In Physics, we learn to apply our math knowledge on real world situations. Problems can range from force, motion, and friction, to electricity and magnetism. Currently we are working in the world of kinematics, observing how motion relates to time and distance.

Dynamics Lab Report

After our unit on Dynamics we were asked to design our own lab and write a report afterwards. My group decided to investigate how the varying levels of force from a fan, acting in the opposite direction of a modified Atwood’s machine, impact the acceleration of the system.

Acceleration on an Inclined Plane

In this problem, we needed to measure the acceleration of a cart on two different inclines and compare the experimental results to theoretical predictions using the kinematic formulas.
