Hi! Welcome to my Mathematical Modeling page.
Math was really challenging, but really cool these past few terms! I'm used to a lot more rigid lessons, so assignments like our Problems of the Week, where we had to come up with our own mathematical formulas like in this birthday calculator one, was challenging! Our math class started with topics about number theory and patterns, moved to mathematical modeling, and recently finished up with statistics. Now we are starting pre-calc! We are also participating in the Modeling the Future Challenge, a competition for risk modeling for high schoolers, but we are still in the project phase right now. Our project is on muscle atrophy, though!
Our HiMCM competition was also challenging- which is a competition for high schoolers to model situations mathematically. While I can't post our submission here, I can show you what we did for practice!
