Benefits of Editing Text in a PDF File

Editing Text

  1. Open the file in which you wish to edit text, and navigate to the text you wish to edit.
  2. Choose Tools > Advanced Editing > TouchUp Text Tool.
  3. Click on the area of text you wish to edit - a box will outline the text you are able to edit.
  4. To select text, do one of the following:
  5. To edit, copy, delete or add text to your selection, do one of the following:
  6. To return to navigating in the PDF file, click on the Hand Tool button in the top navigation bar.

Editing Text Properties

In addition, you may also edit text properties (bold/italics, font type, font size, font color, etc.) by doing the following:

  1. Complete Steps 1-4 detailed above.
  2. After you have selected the text you wish to edit, right click on the text and choose Properties from the menu that appears:
