Spanish is taught by Sra. Wildfong. From the moment we step into the classroom until the moment we leave, we are not allowed to speak English. However, this is enjoyable and can be quite funny at times, particularly in intermediate Spanish. In Spanish class, we listen to songs, watch movies, read books, etc., which is fun, relaxing, and very impactful at increasing our Spanish knowledge. This course allows for students with vastly different levels of experience in Spanish to be able to grasp the new concepts quickly and help those who are completely new to the language.
The Mi Casa Essay was my first essay that I have written in Spanish. The essay was to describe my house in Spanish using simple sentences. Since it was my first essay, the writing is rudimentary and generally follow straightforward patterns. Perfect Spanish grammar is not expected in this essay, so the students were encouraged to follow the language’s conventions the best they can.

My second essay I wrote for Spanish was to talk about a day in my life at Mass Academy. The purpose of the essay to practice writing in Spanish using reflexive verbs, which are actions that the noun will take upon itself, to describe one’s daily routine. My Spanish skills and grammar had improved significantly by this second essay, but there are still noticeable errors.
