What strategy would you advise a friend to use to benefit from this course?

in the Student Course Evaluations forms in my Calculus courses.

(While these remarks are mostly about MA1022, MA1023, and MA1024, they are still about my Calculus courses; all of them are designed analogously and taught in a similar manner.)

• Study
• Study lots
• Study and do HW
• Do the work
• Do the homework
• Do all the HW problems
• Do the homework and test preview problems
• Do a lot of practice before tests
• Do all the HW and make sure you understand it before the test
• Do your homework/assignments. It's an easy "A"
• Do extra HW & go to class
• Do lots of examples from the text
• Attend class and prepare for quizzes in advance
• Take Calc in high school

• Read the book
• Use the book
• Read the book, go to class, study hard, do homework, and get extra help
• Do a lot of studying on your own

• Take the course with this Professor
• Go to Professor's office hours if have questions
• Go to MASH for help with HW problems

• Follow the students' advice!
• Not sure about "an easy A" (see above) due to only successful HW
