Founded in 1979, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Jazz Group regularly tours the globe, hosts regional festivals and symposia, and invites all-star jazzers to the campus and the Worcester area for concerts and clinics. Directed by Professor Richard Falco, The Stage Band and Jazz Ensemble perform a wide range of literature, often in concerts, TV shows, festivals, educational programs, banquets, and charity fund-raisers.  The Jazz Workshop offers an open weekly session for musical exploration at all levels.
