What is Matlab?

Matlab is an engineering software package with powerful signal processing capabilities. Matlab can cope with vectors, matrices, loops, plots, .wav files, and the Fourier Transform. Use the Matlab Tutorial and online materials to begin to develop your own skills which will then pay off in the Signals course and later ECE courses and projects. Being able to list Matlab as a capability on your resume may also be a plus in the eyes of potential employers as it is well know in the engineering community.
