Signal Analysis and Linear Algebra Bridge Tutorial
The purpose of this tutorial is to convey the similarities between the mathematics and Electrical Engineering in the areas of vectors–signals , Fourier Series Analysis and others. We will approach each subject from the two different standpoints (MA and EE) to directly see their relation.
Two main bridge areas developed are :
- Vector-Signal Analogy Table to explain the many similarities between vector and signal notation and operations.
- Fourier Series uses orthogonal basis sets such as sines and cosines or complex exponentials.
