I got started biking about two years ago when I was able to afford a decent mountain bike.  I instantly fell in love with trails and the variety that makes each one unique.  I love riding my local trails with my chocolate Lab running alongside, he loves being with me and being on the trails almost as much as I do.  Any worries or stresses I have going on in my world instantly vanish when I start riding.  I am interested in participating in off road duathlons in the near future which would combine my love for trail running and mountain biking into competition.  Taking my dog out on the trails with me has introduced him to many creatures he has never seen before, and it is always incredibly entertaining see how he will react to this new animal.
