Andrew Gilday
Hey everybody, my name is Drew Gilday and i've been riding since I was a little kid, getting into MTB around age 11. We used to spend our weekends in middle school and early high school fishing in the woods of my hometown of Waterford, CT and we would get there by throwing our poles and tackle boxes into backpacks and hitting the singletrack. In high school I became of member of IMBA and an NMBP patroller and continued that into college. I was also the Area Director of mountain biking and sports at J.N. Webster summer camp in Ashford, CT in 2005 and 2006, teaching kids aged 11-18 MTB skills and maintenance. This past spring I got into road racing for the first time and wow is it fast! I tried out the crits at Dartmouth and MIT and am looking forward to checking out even more this coming spring! Mountain season was a lot of fun this past fall (Dual Slalom next year!) and there might even be some cyclocross in my future.
See you out there,
Drew
