The Magnetics Laboratory: Then and Now
The building that sits on the corner of Institute Road and Boynton Road has had many tenants. Rocket pioneer Robert Goddard, (what is now called) Tech News, and finally the Skull have all called this building home.
Intended for use as a magnetics laboratory, the Tomb was built entirely without ferrous material.
The student newspaper operates from the magnetics laboratory.
||Robert H. Goddard '08, Rocket Pioneer
Uses the old magnetics laboratory for secret experiments in rocketry.
The Skull Senior Society occupies the lab. The building is renamed "Skull Tomb."
